EASTER WEEK We are so excited about this Lenten & Easter season and are looking forward to being blessed to be a blessing with our Holy week schedule and community opportunities. Please let me know if you have any interest in helping out at jon@justchurch.net. Here’s the Schedule:
April 1st 9-10:30 am Easter Pancake Breakfast Please join us at the Newton Community Hall 29 W Main street Newton NH for an all you can eat pancake breakfast. Cost $10 per person (kids under 12 $5 each) which includes fluffy pancakes, syrup, bacon, sausages, toast, juice, coffee and more! The proceeds to benefit “End 68 Hours of Hunger” that provides food and hydration over weekends for Sanborn School District students.
April 1st 10:30 am Easter Egg Hunt Then come over to Just Church for our 1st Annual Egg Hunt that will be on rain or shine. We will have activities indoors as well as eggs filled with treats both outdoors (weather permitting) and inside. Kids 10 and younger are invited to bring their baskets to hunt for eggs. Parents, siblings and friends are welcome to help the hunters too! Also, we always welcome volunteers as breakfast crew, egg hiders or activity assistants. April 2nd Palm Sunday 9:30 am Breakfast 10:30 am Worship Service
We will be celebrating Jesus’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem by providing Palms, reading the story and learning about why this event forever changed humanity and how it is still relevant for us today.
April 6th Maundy Thursday 6:30 pm Pizza & showing of “The Passion of the Christ”
April 7th Good Friday Worship 6:30 pm Please join us for this powerful service reflecting on Jesus’ way to and redemptive work on the Cross. This service combines beautiful music and sunset as we walk through the scriptures leading up to Jesus’s declaration that “It is Finished” when he is laid in a tomb, until….
April 9th Easter Sunday Services 8:30 am 1st Worship Service, 9:30 am Easter Brunch, and 10:30 am 2nd Worship Service “He is Alive!” Celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ at either of our worship services and also enjoy a special Easter breakfast including eggs, ham, french toast bakes and so much more. Just Kids Program (ages 4-12) and nursery (ages 1-3) are available during our 10:30 am service. We hope to see you there!
