JC friends and family,  (latest update (11/11/2020)

Dawn is coming!  We here at Just Church believe that God will use al things for the good of those who love Him, according to His will and Purpose – Romans 8:28.  We also want to keep you up to date on our response to Covid-19, the coronavirus. The events are unfolding at an incredible pace and so we are all trying to remain flexible and navigate this uncharted territory together.

ONLINE ONLY WORSHIP 11/15 & 11/22: Wednesday 11/11 we were notified today that someone in attendance at Just Church worship  Sunday, November 8th, has tested positive for COVID-19. The safety and health of our church family is of the highest concern to us at Just Church, which is why we’ve been taking precautions during services against exposure such as proper social distancing and required mask use. Even so, we have strongly recommended that our leadership team seek testing and, if you are concerned about potential exposure, we encourage you to do the same. Testing is accessible by contacting your primary care physician or locating a local testing site, many of which may be found online. Additionally, we encourage you to review the CDC website for information about COVID-19, including its symptoms, how it spreads, and actions you can take to protect yourself and your family:

Our leadership team has decided that will worship together online only the next 2 Sundays, 11/15 and 11/22 even though many of our JC leaders have confirmed negative test results. We look forward to seeing you all online to worship and give God all of the glory together!

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” – John 14:27 NIV

Please join our Live Stream on our Just Church FB page at https://www.facebook.com/JustChurchHaverhill. We have every confidence that we can share a great service, gathering and interacting as a church family whether in-person or online.

Lastly, if you missed any of the other weeks please visit https://justchurch.net/watch to view the great worship and messages.  We miss & love you!

This time of uncertainty can adversely affect the church financially and so we hope and pray you will consider how to continue giving even in the midst of changes and distancing. This can be done online via the Just Church webpage at https://justchurch.net/give/ or you can mail a check made payable to “Just Church” to:

Your commitment to faithful giving will ensure we can continue to be the hands and feet of Christ in Haverhill and beyond.

We intend to closely monitor developments with the coronavirus throughout the next week and will prayerfully make decisions on how best to move forward with Sunday worship and other gatherings in future weeks.

This is indeed uncharted territory that we walk through right now, but we must not forget that we don’t walk alone.

“So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 NLT

Until we can gather together once again, may the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Peace, Joy & Love!
